Programming
Intensive
“Software development is a game of insight, and insight comes to the prepared, relaxed mind.” – Extreme Programming Explained, second edition.
Stuck in a rut? Is your programming at a plateau? Do you want to remember why you got into programming in the first place? Here is a chance to rediscover the fun of programming while practicing and improving your programming skills. In this low-risk environment, you can explore and develop your programming in the company of like-minded programmers. Participants will spend four days programming a version of their favorite games using this as an opportunity to develop new skills, renew enthusiasm, and reflect on why we do what we do. There will be time for reflection, discussion and collaboration with other programmers. Participants will spend time working on their own programs and helping each other. Come join with us to renew our energies for our daily work.
We do not have a Programming Intensive workshop scheduled at this time. The four-day workshop costs $2000. Attendance is strictly limited to 5 participants. Participants should bring their own computers and a sense of humor. WiFi and broadband will be provided.
Participants fly into and out of the Rogue Valley
